Welcome to Sorena AI! We provide technology and services that enable access to and use of Sorena AI's artificial intelligence models. These Terms of Service govern your use of Sorena AI, and the other websites, products, services, and technologies we offer.
The Services are provided by Sorena AB (559573-7338), a Swedish company based in Stockholm. Sorena started operations in February 2024 and was officially registered in February 2026.
You must be of legal age (age of majority) in your jurisdiction to use the Services. For users in Sweden, this means you must be at least 18 years old.
The Service require a Sorena AI account. You must provide complete and accurate account information and promptly update your account if any of your information changes. Your account is intended for your individual use only and you may not share your account with any other person. You are responsible for any activities conducted through your account, including activities of any end user provisioned with an account under your account ('End User Account'), whether or not those activities were actually conducted by you. You may not make account access credentials available to third parties, share individual login credentials between multiple users on an account, or resell or lease access to your account or any End User Account. You must promptly notify us at [email protected] or through the Help Center in the event you detect any unauthorized or fraudulent access or use of your account.
If you have an admin account, you will have access to additional features, such as (a) adding authorized users to your workspace either by invitation or automatically, through the domain of their email address, (b) managing accounts within your workspace, and (c) managing features for the authorized users of your workspace.
We grant you a non-exclusive right to access and use the Services only in compliance with these Terms, any applicable Additional Terms, all applicable laws and regulations, and any other documentation, guidelines, or policies we make available to you, including our Usage Policy. Some Services may be subject to certain restrictions, such as formatting or size restrictions, or rate limits. Any such restrictions can be found in the applicable documentation or on our platform. The different subscription plans applicable to the Services are described on our platform.
We own all right, title, and interest in and to the Services. You only receive rights to use the Services as explicitly granted in these Terms and any applicable Additional Terms. You will not, and will not permit any other person to use the Services or Your Data in a manner that violates any applicable laws, these Terms, or any of our policies; infringe third party rights; send us any personal information of children under 13; reverse engineer the Services; compromise security; or buy, sell, or transfer API keys or Service accounts.
You agree to use the Services in good faith and for lawful purposes only. You must not abuse the Services or use them in any manner that could harm Sorena AI, our infrastructure, or other users. All interactions with our Services must comply with ethical standards and professional conduct.
You may not use the Services to: (a) harass, abuse, threaten, or harm any person or entity; (b) engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or manipulative practices; (c) generate or distribute malicious content, misinformation, or content intended to cause harm; (d) attempt to manipulate, deceive, or exploit vulnerabilities in our AI systems; (e) conduct activities that violate professional ethics or codes of conduct in your industry; (f) facilitate or encourage illegal activities; or (g) circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical limitations, security measures, or usage restrictions we implement.
You must not use the Services to abuse, harass, discriminate against, or cause harm to other users or third parties. This includes generating content that promotes hate speech, violence, discrimination, or content that violates the rights or dignity of others.
You acknowledge that AI systems can be misused and agree to use our Services responsibly. You will not attempt to generate outputs that circumvent safety measures, produce harmful content, or exploit the AI system for malicious purposes. You agree to report any vulnerabilities or potential misuse of the Services to our security team.
Violations of these acceptable use standards may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, and you may be held liable for any damages or harm caused by your misuse of the Services. We reserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities regarding any illegal or abusive conduct.
You and your authorized users may provide input to the Services, such as prompts or fine-tuning data ('Input'), and receive output from the Services based on such Input ('Output'). We refer to Input and Output collectively as 'Your Data'. You retain all ownership rights in Input and own all Output. We assign to you all right, title, and interest, if any, in and to Output that we may have.
You are responsible for all Input and represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, and permissions required to provide Input to the Services. You are solely responsible for all use of the Outputs and evaluating the Output for accuracy and appropriateness for your use case.
You have the availability to report to us any of Your Data or Third-Party Content that violate our Usage Policy or that contains illegal content. You can report such content by using the report feature on the Services and/or by sending an email at [email protected].
We warrant that, when used in accordance with these Terms and the applicable Additional Terms, the Services will conform in all material respects with the documentation we provide to you or otherwise make publicly available.
You warrant that (a) you have the authority to enter into and accept these Terms and (b) you and your authorized users (if any) will use the Services in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations and these Terms.
EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTIES IN THIS SECTION 5 (WARRANTIES; DISCLAIMER), THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND WE AND OUR AFFILIATES AND LICENSORS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND TITLE, NONINFRINGEMENT, OR QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR TRADE USAGE. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES (I) THAT USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR FREE, SECURE, OR BE SUITABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC PURPOSES OR USE-CASES, (II) THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR (III) THAT YOUR DATA WILL BE ACCURATE.
You will indemnify, defend, and hold us and our affiliates, service providers, and licensors harmless against any liabilities, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) payable to a third party arising out of a third party claim related to (i) the use of the Services in violation of these Terms, (ii) any of your products or services that you make available to end-users in connection with the Services or Outputs, or (iii) Your Data.
You are fully liable for any damages, losses, or harm caused by your abuse, misuse, or unethical use of the Services. This includes but is not limited to: (a) harm caused to other users or third parties through your use of the Services; (b) damages resulting from your violation of acceptable use standards or ethical guidelines; (c) costs incurred by Sorena AI in investigating or responding to your abusive conduct; (d) damages arising from your generation or distribution of harmful, fraudulent, or illegal content using our Services; and (e) any losses resulting from your circumvention of security measures or technical limitations. You agree to compensate Sorena AI and affected parties for all such damages and associated costs, including legal fees.
In addition to third-party claims covered above, you are directly liable to Sorena AI for any harm, damage, or loss to our platform, infrastructure, reputation, or business operations caused by your violation of these Terms, abuse of the Services, or unethical conduct. This liability is separate from and in addition to any indemnification obligations.
We will indemnify and defend you for any damages finally awarded by a court of competent jurisdiction and any settlement amounts payable to a third party arising out of a third party claim alleging that the Services infringe any third party intellectual property right.
NEITHER WE NOR ANY OF OUR AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, SHAREHOLDERS, LICENSORS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, OR DATA OR OTHER LOSSES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS AND ANY APPLICABLE ADDITIONAL TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE LIABILITY AROSE OR 100 EUROS. THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION 7 (LIABILITY) APPLY ONLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
These Terms will commence on the earlier of (i) the date you first use the Services or (ii) the date you accept these Terms, and will continue until terminated.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and/or your access to all or part of the Services if: (i) you breach these Terms, (ii) you fail to pay any fees when due, (iii) we need to do so in order to comply with applicable law, or (iv) your continued use of the Services could cause risk or harm to Sorena AI, our users, or anyone else.
We process your personal data as data controller for the purposes of (a) providing the Services (unless you are using our Services on behalf of your business) and (b) managing your relationship with us in accordance with these Terms, including any billing, payment, or marketing activities.
If you use the Services to process personal data on behalf of your business you must (a) provide legally adequate privacy notices and obtain necessary consents for the processing of personal data by the Services, (b) process personal data in accordance with applicable law, and (c) execute our Data Processing Agreement.
We may update these Terms, the Additional Terms, our Usage Policy or our Services from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days advance notice of changes to these Terms that materially adversely impact you either via email or an in-product notification.
The laws of Sweden will govern all disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, or related Services, regardless of conflict of laws rules. These disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Stockholm, Sweden, and you and Sorena AI consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing between you and Sorena AI, these Terms, including our Usage Policy and any applicable Additional Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and us concerning the Services.
The output generated by our AI services is for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice. Always consult with qualified domain experts (legal professionals, cybersecurity experts, etc.) before taking any action based on AI-generated content. Our service is designed to supplement, not replace, professional legal counsel or expert consultation.
While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, biases, or errors. We make no representations or warranties about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of AI outputs. Our AI analyzes vast amounts of compliance and legal data to offer insights and suggestions, but these are best-effort services based on available information.
Sorena AI and its affiliates are not responsible for any decisions, actions, or consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated content. Users are solely responsible for verifying and validating any information before use. This includes any attempts to bypass human review processes or misuse of the AI system.
AI-generated advice may not account for all nuances of your specific situation. Regulations and legal landscapes change frequently, and our AI may not reflect the most recent updates. The system provides general insights based on patterns in data but cannot replace human judgment and expertise.
Use our AI Compliance Assist to get started, gain initial insights, and prepare for more informed discussions with your domain experts. The service is not intended as a standalone solution for legal or compliance decisions.
Bypassing recommended human review processes or expert consultation is done at your own risk. We explicitly disclaim any liability for decisions made without appropriate expert review, regardless of the confidence level expressed in the AI output.
While we strive to maintain current information, the AI's knowledge cutoff date may mean it's not aware of recent developments. Users must independently verify the currency of any information provided.
Any attempt to manipulate the AI system to generate outputs that circumvent legal requirements, professional review processes, or compliance procedures is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of service access.
AI outputs are highly dependent on the quality and completeness of input provided. Incomplete or inaccurate inputs will result in potentially misleading outputs. Users must ensure they provide complete and accurate context for their queries.
The use of AI-generated content in regulatory or compliance contexts is at the user's own risk. Users must ensure any application of AI outputs complies with relevant regulations, standards, and professional requirements in their jurisdiction.
While we assign to you all rights to the AI-generated output, you remain solely responsible for how you use, implement, or act upon such output. This includes ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
You retain all ownership rights to your input data. By using our services, you grant us the necessary licenses to process your input data to provide the services.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the output does not infringe on any third-party rights or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
As a Swedish company, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection laws. We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations.
When processing personal data on behalf of business users, we act as a data processor and require a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to be in place.
Any international transfers of personal data are conducted in compliance with GDPR requirements, including appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, secure coding practices, and regular security assessments. Our infrastructure is protected by enterprise-grade WAF/Firewalls and we maintain secure backup systems.
We maintain strict access controls, authentication mechanisms, and monitoring systems to protect your data. Our security measures are regularly audited and updated.
We maintain comprehensive incident response plans and will notify affected users of any security incidents in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
You are strictly prohibited from using any AI outputs, responses, or generated content from our Services to train, fine-tune, improve, or develop competing artificial intelligence models or systems. This includes but is not limited to using our outputs as training data for machine learning algorithms, benchmarking against competing AI services, or systematic extraction of AI responses for competitive purposes.
You may not use our Services, outputs, methodologies, or any insights derived therefrom to develop, enhance, or operate competing AI-powered legal, compliance, or cybersecurity platforms or services. This prohibition extends to creating derivative products, white-labeling our outputs, or reselling our AI-generated content as part of competing solutions.
You are prohibited from using our Services to gather competitive intelligence, monitor our capabilities for competitive purposes, analyze our pricing or features for competitive advantage, or study our service architecture to replicate functionality in competing products.
Systematic downloading, scraping, crawling, or bulk extraction of AI outputs, website content, documentation, or any other data from our Services is strictly prohibited, especially when intended for competitive use or creating competing datasets.
All content on our website, platform, and services, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, designs, documentation, user interfaces, and educational materials, is protected by copyright and owned by Sorena AI. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or public display of any content is strictly prohibited.
You may not copy, reproduce, share, post, or distribute any content from our Services on social media, blogs, public forums, presentations, conferences, or any other public platforms without prior written consent. This includes screenshots, recordings, or any other captured content from our platform.
You may not present our copyrighted content as your original work, remove copyright notices or attribution, use our content to endorse other services, or misrepresent the source or accuracy of any copied content. All use of our content must maintain proper attribution where permitted.
Downloading, redistributing, or sharing our proprietary documentation, code examples, templates, frameworks, methodologies, or any digital materials is prohibited without explicit written permission. This includes mirroring or archiving our website content.
Brief quotations for academic research or commentary may be permitted under fair use principles, provided they include proper attribution, do not exceed reasonable limits, and are not used for commercial purposes. Any substantial use requires prior written consent from Sorena AI.
For this section, "Artifacts" means regulatory decision maps, compliance timelines, self-assessment tools, flowcharts, and any other visual or interactive regulatory content provided through the Services, whether viewed online or exported or downloaded.
All Artifacts, including their underlying data, structure, design, layout, and presentation, are the exclusive intellectual property of Sorena AI and are protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Sorena AI retains full and sole ownership of all Artifacts. No license, right, title, or interest in any Artifact is transferred to you except the limited right to view and use Artifacts in accordance with these Terms.
You may view and download Artifacts solely for your own internal, non-commercial reference purposes. Artifacts may not be redistributed, published, sublicensed, or shared with third parties in any form; used in commercial products, services, publications, or presentations without prior written consent; modified or adapted to create derivative works; incorporated into competing products or services; or presented as your own work or as authoritative legal or compliance guidance.
Artifacts are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Artifacts do not constitute legal, regulatory, compliance, or professional advice. Regulatory landscapes change frequently and Artifacts may not reflect the most current legislative text, enforcement guidance, or judicial interpretation. You must consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on Artifact content.
ARTIFACTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SORENA AI MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, RELIABILITY, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY ARTIFACT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. REGULATORY SUMMARIES, FLOWCHARTS, TIMELINES, AND ASSESSMENT LOGIC MAY CONTAIN ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR OUTDATED INFORMATION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SORENA AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, RELIANCE ON, OR INABILITY TO USE ANY ARTIFACT. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR REGULATORY NON-COMPLIANCE, FINES, PENALTIES, FAILED AUDITS, LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR OTHER LOSSES RESULTING FROM DECISIONS MADE BASED ON ARTIFACT CONTENT.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sorena AI, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to your use of or reliance on any Artifact; redistribution or unauthorized sharing of Artifacts; third-party claims resulting from decisions you made based on Artifact content; or your creation of derivative works from Artifacts.
Artifacts exported or downloaded as image files (JPEG, PNG) or other formats remain subject to all terms in this section. Embedded metadata, including copyright notices and authorship attribution, must not be removed, altered, or obscured. Removal of metadata is a violation of these Terms and may result in termination of access and legal action.
Use of any Artifact, including a self-assessment tool, decision map, or timeline, does not constitute certification, attestation, or confirmation of compliance with any regulation, directive, or standard. Assessment scores, domain ratings, and flowchart outcomes are indicative only and carry no legal, regulatory, or evidentiary weight. You must not represent to auditors, regulators, clients, or other third parties that Sorena AI has certified or verified your compliance status.
Self-assessment tools produce scores and domain-level ratings based on user-provided answers. Results reflect only the information you provide and may be incomplete or inaccurate, are not validated or audited by Sorena AI, do not replace formal compliance assessments or audits by qualified professionals, and may use simplified logic that does not capture full regulatory complexity. Sorena AI accepts no liability for actions or decisions taken in reliance on assessment results.
Sorena AI is a private technology company. Sorena AI is not a government body, regulatory authority, notified body, supervisory authority, or accredited certification body. Artifact references to regulations such as NIS2, EU AI Act, GDPR, CRA, and DORA are informational only and do not imply endorsement, affiliation, or authorization by relevant authorities.
Underlying legislative texts and regulatory guidance may be public domain or government works. Sorena AI's interpretation, analysis, structuring, flowchart logic, decision-tree design, timeline organization, scoring methodology, visual presentation, and other creative and analytical elements are proprietary and protected by copyright. Availability of source regulatory text does not diminish Sorena AI's intellectual property rights in Artifacts.
These Terms are between you and Sorena AI. No third party, including your clients, auditors, regulators, partners, or end-users, has any right, claim, or benefit under these Terms in relation to Artifacts. If you share, display, or reference an Artifact to a third party where permitted, Sorena AI owes no duty or liability to that third party.
Once an Artifact is exported or downloaded, it becomes a static snapshot as of the export date. Regulations, enforcement guidance, and compliance requirements change over time. Sorena AI has no obligation to notify you when a previously exported Artifact becomes outdated, superseded, or no longer accurate. You are solely responsible for verifying currency before reliance.
Artifacts may cover regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including EU, UK, US, Australia, Brazil, Singapore, and others. Requirements vary significantly by jurisdiction, member state, sector, and entity type. Sorena AI does not guarantee that any Artifact reflects requirements applicable to your organization, jurisdiction, or sector. Local legal counsel should always be consulted.
Artifacts must not be used as the sole or primary basis for automated decision-making systems, including systems that automatically determine compliance status, trigger regulatory filings, generate audit reports, or make employment, procurement, or contractual decisions without meaningful human review. Integration of Artifact data or logic into automated pipelines requires prior written consent from Sorena AI.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract underlying data structures, JSON schemas, decision-tree logic, scoring algorithms, or source code of any Artifact. Programmatic scraping, crawling, or automated extraction of Artifact content is strictly prohibited.
You may not embed, frame, or display Artifacts, in whole or part, on third-party websites, applications, or services using iframes, hotlinks, or other technical means without prior written consent. Deep linking to specific Artifact pages is permitted only for non-commercial reference purposes with proper attribution.
Access to and use of Artifacts is limited to the individual user or the specific legal entity associated with that account. Sharing Artifacts across subsidiaries, affiliates, parent companies, joint ventures, or related entities requires separate authorization. Each legal entity must maintain its own account and license as applicable.
Regulatory cheatsheets, summary guides, compliance overviews, and other supplementary educational content published alongside Artifacts are subject to the same terms in this section, including copyright ownership, liability disclaimers, permitted use restrictions, and prohibition on redistribution.
Artifacts may include embedded metadata, watermarks, or fingerprints for copyright protection and attribution tracking. Metadata may identify originating account, export date, and source URL. Attempts to remove, alter, obscure, or circumvent embedded metadata are a material breach of these Terms and may be pursued under applicable copyright and anti-circumvention laws.
Sorena AI reserves the right to modify, update, discontinue, or remove any Artifact at any time without prior notice. Sorena AI may revoke access to Artifacts for users who violate these Terms.
The provisions in this section relating to intellectual property ownership, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification, and prohibited uses survive termination or expiration of these Terms and your access to the Services.
We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns, conduct audits, and investigate potential violations of these competitive use and copyright restrictions. Users must cooperate with reasonable investigations and provide access to relevant records upon request.
Any violation of competitive use restrictions or copyright protections will result in immediate termination of your account and access to all Services, without refund of any fees paid. We may also pursue all available legal remedies.
Violations may result in monetary damages, including but not limited to actual damages, lost profits, and statutory damages where applicable. We reserve the right to seek injunctive relief to prevent ongoing violations and protect our intellectual property rights.
We will pursue DMCA takedown notices and other legal procedures to remove unauthorized use of our copyrighted content. Repeat offenders may be permanently banned from accessing our Services and may face additional legal consequences.
If you become aware of any violations of these restrictions, please report them immediately to [email protected]. We take all violations seriously and will investigate promptly.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide advance notice of any material changes through email or prominent notice on our services.
Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We maintain archives of previous versions of these Terms, which are available upon request.
These Terms are governed by Swedish law, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
All disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, including any questions regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be finally settled by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC).
The arbitration shall be conducted in Stockholm, Sweden. The language of the arbitration shall be English. The arbitral tribunal shall consist of three arbitrators unless the amount in dispute is less than EUR 100,000, in which case a sole arbitrator shall be appointed.
The existence and content of the arbitral proceedings and any rulings or award shall be kept strictly confidential by all parties involved.
